What’s new in Klient PSA 51.12 01:50

51.12 brings 23 new features plus fixes. 15 of the 23 came from your ideas on the Ideas Exchange, including Draft Mode, PTO and holidays in My Deadlines and Project Closure. 14 of them have an upgrade consideration, meaning your admin switches them on: look for the 🚨 in the 51.12 release notes.

Resource Planner: Draft Mode 03:11

The most requested what-if tool. Turn on the new Draft Mode toggle and a purple label tells you you’re in a draft: move, reassign or delete assignments, undo and redo, and nothing changes on the live plan until you press Save. Yanick took a resource overbooked at 70 hours, removed a pipeline project that wasn’t sold yet and moved work to a teammate with free capacity. Drafts are private to you, and Draft Mode works in the project view too. Read the Draft Mode release note.

Coming in 51.15: a new, more modern look for the whole Resource Planner.

Resource Planner: task fields and project-field filters 06:16

You can now show task fields under each task name (start date, status, priority), controlled by a field set, like the fields already shown under resources. The filter panel has a new section to filter by any lookup on the project, for example every project still on the 2025 rate card, or everything except one opportunity, with your own filter logic (1 AND 2). It was one of the most voted ideas. Fields below task name · Filter by project field.

Project Workspace: Predecessors column 09:58

The Predecessors column used to be read-only. Now you type dependencies straight in: the WBS number plus the link type (5.2FS, 3FS, 5SS), and the Gantt realigns. Self-loops and invalid links are blocked. Rosalie’s tip: add the column to your preset and place it next to the WBS column. Predecessors column release note.

Project Workspace: Chatter indicator 13:10

The Task Indicators column now shows when a task has Chatter posts, next to checklist items, logged time, files and overdue flags. If you don’t see the column, right-click a column header and add it to your preset. Chatter indicator release note.

Launch Project Import from the workspace 15:03

Right-click a task in the grid to import a project template right under it, with its tasks and assignments, instead of adding it at the end of the plan. You can also launch it from the global actions. Project Import release note.

Project Closure 17:13

One screen to close a project properly. It warns you about unpaid or draft invoices and unsubmitted timesheets, shows how many hours are still scheduled after your close date, then lets you mark the project Complete or Canceled, close every assignment, align schedules to the hours actually logged, or delete what’s left. Your Resource Planner stays clean, with no empty lines from forgotten projects. Project Closure release note · eLearning.

New Project page: multi-select checkboxes 21:25

When you create a project by hand, multi-select options are now checkbox groups instead of a drop-down, so they are easier to read and pick. Release note.

My Deadlines: PTO and holidays on the calendar 21:42

The calendar view of My Deadlines now shows vacations and company holidays, each in its own color, so you see who is off before you plan a deadline. Not using My Deadlines yet? It’s where Klient is heading for “what should I work on next”. Release note.

My Timesheets: group by billable 23:31

A third grouping option after task and project: group your timesheet by billable and non-billable, with summary lines, combined with your other groupings. Your choice is remembered. Release note.

Mass Timesheet Operations: parent task in the task list 26:05

The task list now shows the parent task and project, and can sort by them, so two tasks with the same name in different phases are easy to tell apart. Release note.

Generate Invoice: organization filter and expense receipts 27:19

If you invoice for several companies, a new organization filter on the search bar narrows Generate Invoice to one entity. Expense receipts (PDFs and images) can now be embedded in the invoice PDF you send. Using QuickBooks? Search the release notes for it: several connector improvements have an upgrade step. Organization filter · Expense receipts on the PDF.

Snap Workspace on the project record, and presets 29:24

You can now drop the Snap Workspace, or part of it, on the project record page, so its KPIs sit right on the project. Yanick’s tip: schedule a primary snap; it only records the changes, so it stays live without piling up records. Presets save a view (a burndown, a time range, a set of projects) for your weekly or portfolio review. Snap on the project record · Presets · eLearning.

Surveys: drag-and-drop reordering 33:15

Reorder survey questions by drag and drop in Configure Survey. A bigger survey dashboard comes with Klient Insights. Release note.

Feature Hub: more documentation, KLARA v2 and release notes for your AI 34:06

Since the last webinar we added 98 new articles (FAQs, eLearnings, new sections) and updated 166, built from the answers KLARA gives our support team. KLARA version 2 went live on October 5: if you haven’t asked her anything since, try again. Release notes now show a before and after for every fix. And you can hand the release notes link to your own AI and ask it, for example, “what changed since 51.9 for people who log time?” New to Klient? Start with the eLearning courses, then ask KLARA.

Ideas Exchange 39:27

36 ideas from the Ideas Exchange are already live. Submit or vote, and you now get an email when an idea you backed moves to development and when it ships.

Salesforce Backup & Recover, through Klient 40:22

Klient is now a Salesforce OEM partner and can supply Salesforce Backup & Recover (formerly Own Backup): daily backups, alerts on mass deletes, comparing two backups and restoring only what changed. It matters more as AI agents start editing data at speed. Pricing depends on your data and file storage; reply to the recap email with “size my org” and we’ll check it for you.

Frequently asked questions

Does Draft Mode actually create task assignments?

Only once you save. Everything you move, add or delete in Draft Mode stays in your own draft (other people don’t see it) until you press Save; then the changes are applied to the project plan. Exit and discard if you change your mind.

Is everything shown today available now, or only in a future release?

Everything we demoed is in 51.12 and is available in the latest version you can upgrade to today.

How do we upgrade to the latest release? Do we submit a case?

Upgrading is something your Salesforce admins do themselves: follow How to update Klient to a new release, and open a support case if you have any questions. 14 features in 51.12 need an admin step to switch on: open the release notes marked 🚨 for each one.

How do I type a dependency in the Predecessors column?

Type the WBS number plus the link type, comma separated, for example 3FS, 5SS. The link types are FS (finish to start), SS, FF and SF. Loops and invalid links are blocked. See the Predecessors column release note.

Is My Deadlines for all projects, or enabled per project?

All projects. It works from the tasks you, or your team, are assigned to. Open it from the home page or the app launcher; it isn’t a per-project screen.

Can My Deadlines sync with Outlook?

Not today. Calendar sync is on the roadmap; we’ll announce it in a product update webinar when it ships.

How do I get to Snap Workspace?

From the app launcher. If you don’t see it, ask your admin for the Snap Workspace permission set. The list is empty at first: pick a project and create your first snap, then schedule it so it stays current. The Snap Workspace eLearning walks you through it.

Can I customize the Project Closure page, or download all projects at once?

Not today. If you’d like the closure page to do more, or a one-click export of every project with its tasks and assignees, post it on the Ideas Exchange: ideas on a feature that just shipped are the quickest to get picked up.

Rosalie Chassat: Hi everyone, and welcome to our October Product Update webinar. Wherever you’re joining from, thank you so much for being here. You may notice a new look and feel in our slides, but no worries, you’re still with the Klient webinar, Product Update webinar. Alright, so here’s who’s with us today. So, myself, Rosalie, I’m Customer Success Manager at Klient. As always, we have Yanick, our CEO, that will be leading the demo portion of the webinar. Hi, Yanick!

Yanick Abraham: Hello, Rosalie! Exciting times, a lot of cool stuff again today, but oh my, oh my, are we in for something in the next few months. So stay tuned, we have a lot of cool stuff coming in.

Rosalie Chassat: And we have Nathalie, who’s our change advisor. Everybody knows Nathalie. She’s in the chat, we’ll be answering your questions today. Before we move forward, we just want to launch a quick poll. We want to know, as always, is this your first Klient webinar? Yes? know I’m a regular, know I’ve been to a couple, this just helps us know who’s here with us today. So, I’ll leave you a few seconds, and we’ll move on. And it looks like we don’t have any webinar newbie, so… Hello again.

Yanick Abraham: Regulars.

Rosalie Chassat: All right, perfect. Quick few things before we start. Please use the emoji reaction today at the bottom of your screen. We’re trying something new today, so we’ll turn all the most, reacted moments of the webinar into short clips afterwards, so please be sure to, like, use it when you’re excited about something we show. Today’s session is recorded, so right after you get a follow-up email. With a link to the new page we add on our website that includes the recording, the recap, direct links to features, and the slide deck we have today. Questions go in the Q&A or in the chat, whatever you prefer, and we’ll answer as you go. Alright, so here’s the plan. I’ll finish the poll. There we go. Alright, so here’s the plan for today. We’ll talk about what’s new in 51.12. 23 new features, plus a bunch of fixes. And then we’ll, demo it. We talked about community updates, best practices, what’s coming next, a few new things in Klient, and, that’s it. So, let’s get started. 51.12. Alright. So, with 51.12, what is included in there? We have 23 new features. 15 of the 23 are coming from your feedback in the Ideas Exchange. A few examples you have here, draft mode, PTO and Holidays, project closure, really big features, all coming from you, so please continue to submit and vote your ideas.

Yanick Abraham: Absolutely.

Rosalie Chassat: And here we have the full list. You have direct links to every single release note, so best practice after the webinar, you can just go back to the slide and then click on the one of interest. The ones in bold are the one we’re demoing today. And the one with the little red light emoji means there’s an upgrade consideration. There’s 14 on this release, which means your admin needs to do something for that feature to be enabled. So make sure you have a look if you’re an admin. All right, perfect, and we’ve dropped the release note link in the chat. Perfect, let’s kick off with our very first, interface, the resource planner. Yanick, I’m passing you the ball. Let’s talk about draft mode, an exciting one.

Yanick Abraham: Yes, draft mode. So, this is something that’s been asked by our customer for a long time, to be able to do a what-if scenario, and be able to move things around without breaking everything. So, this is it, draft mode. So, the first thing we want to look at, and you can see there’s a new toggle here on top. You know, with that purple label at the bottom that you are entered in the draft mode, meaning that everything you will be doing won’t have an impact live until you press that save button. So, let’s take a look first. We can see here that Ben-Gray is way overbooked at 70 hours for this specific week. We can see a few things in regards of his project, so he has some shift scheduling here, and he has one project in terms of pipeline project, that probably we can just remove that pipeline project, because he’s not assigned, it’s not sold yet, so I can just go ahead and delete. that specific block, or I could have deleted the entire project itself, and now you can see that I have one unsafe item, and I’m starting to see real-life data as well going around. Maybe I can move other things, or maybe I can switch that customer community that is being built. I can see that… let me switch to my dev team. I knew something was wrong. Exit first, discard, so you can exit and discard. So let me switch then to my dev team. I’m gonna be able to really focus on the one scenario I had in mind. Hmm, so here I can see that Amelia has some, some openings, so let me switch back that draft mode. Sorry about that. And then Ben-Gray, and then we can move things around. So I can, like I did just before, I can either delete or move. In this specific case, I’m gonna take this one, and I’m gonna reassign it to our friend Amelia. And by doing so, what’s happening now, it’s, it is reassigning that, It didn’t work. Let me just do that other one that I was dealing with. I want to show you the, the undo and the redo stack that you can do with the system, too. So, when you have applied some of your changes, you can always go back and do some redo and undo. Sorry about that mishap, but you can move things around, you can change things, and you can delete things, and it’s gonna have an impact. When you’re ready, let me do it again. So I’m gonna just delete this, and when you’re ready, you can just go ahead and save, and it’s gonna do that specific reply on your project plan. This way, you’re safe. If you ever did mistake in draft mode, it doesn’t stick yet.

Rosalie Chassat: And if someone is playing in the draft mode and nothing is saved, others won’t see what you’re playing in draft mode with, it’s only.

Yanick Abraham: No, it’s purely a mode for yourself, yeah, to move things around.

Rosalie Chassat: exists.

Yanick Abraham: And, we… yeah, you’re gonna talk about it in the next one, but we are revamping that resource planner, and let’s hope that some of those glitches that you just see won’t happen again in the next release, because we are revamping that entire resource planner also. Okay, let’s go back to the other functionality that we’ve added. So, a few things about visibility of task name, and we’re gonna be looking also at the filters by project field. So, you can see below your resources, you have a few fields that are being controlled by field set. Now we have the same thing, but for task. So you can know, for example, we’ve put the start date and the statuses here and the priority. This is being controlled by a feature set, so you can just go in and go change your feature set to see your task. One thing I forgot to mention, and let me just switch to my project view, the, project view also works with the draft mode, so we’re gonna be able to do so, and that, that label also follows into that specific project view, in terms of seeing the, task information under it. And the other one, that project filter, so if you open up your project filter on the right, you have a new section. So it’s part of our introducing new filtering mechanism on the resource planner, so you can search for different lookups that you have in the system. So those are all the lookups that you have on the project object. So, for example, if I want to see only the projects that are still on the 2025 rate card, I could just go ahead and apply, and then it’s going to filter out my list to show that 25 rate card for all my assignments assigned on it. But let’s say I want to also maybe just exclude, or maybe just look at the opportunity, or I know that, for example, Acme is problematic, so maybe I can exclude all the projects that are linked to the opportunity ACME, and then all those projects are going to be dropped. So you can do a lot of filtering based on this. And if you notice as well, so when you are putting some of those who have one my rate card to my opportunity. They could have OR value, so if I select multiple, it gives me OR. But after that, I can do some other filter logic here at the bottom, so I can do 1 and 2. If I want to do 1 and something for the rate card, I just need to create a second one rate card, and then do 1 and 2. This way, I’m going to be able to do any kind of mix and match of filtering for this. So this is a first pass on the lookup field. We’re gonna come with other filtering mechanisms in the next few releases.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and I know a lot of customers ask about that, it was one of the ones that got a lot of votes, so if you were one of the voters, please try it and let us know if it meets your need, or if there’s still little tweaks we need to do.

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, absolutely. And the last one is the, holiday total fix, so there’s, the way that we’re seeing all the day, I won’t be demoing this one, but the way we were, seeing all the days in the resource planner, there was, partial days were not showing up properly, and now they are.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and as Yanick mentioned a little bit, in 51.15, so 2 releases from now, three releases from now, the resource planner is getting a more modern look… look, so the whole UI is getting revamped, so stay tuned for that.

Yanick Abraham: Yes, and I’ll do a better demo when we have that new look of that draft mode, because it’s a really cool feature. It wasn’t the day for it today. Let’s move on to the project workspace, Rosalie.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and let’s start with predecessor columns, which is something, it’s a very small thing, but people that were asking for it were very adamant that this is how they wanted to use, the predecessor, so really glad we have it now.

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, absolutely, and this is, like you said, an adjustment that, something we didn’t have, and that makes total sense when you’re doing Gantt and proper project planning. So all those lines, they call dependencies, so you have predecessor’s dependency, and now you can easily adjust those, dependencies just by typing in. So, for example, if I’m, just, deleting some of those here, and pressing enter. You’re gonna see that, let me remove the two of them. You see that the predecessor lines are disappearing here on top. Okay, so this is the effect. The numbering system, it’s, the 3.1, you see, it’s the WBS number here on the left side. And, the FS means finish to start, and you have start to start, start to finish, you have all those that you could already do by the drag and drop, so usually you would just select and drag and click to the other one, but now you can easily do it. So, for example, I have that release onboarding templates. So, this is for another webinar too, so we have new onboarding templates that are being published on the marketplace. So, let’s hook that thing, and I want my, for example, to do it maybe after my release support, releasing the support agent of 5.2, so I would do 5.2… FS, for example, and it’s just gonna realign it. Actually, it may be me do it from a 5.1, and then you can do any kind of looping, too, so if I would prefer doing a start-to-start, I can just do a start-to-start with my 5.1 or my Let’s say I have my 5.3 nest further down, so you can create those, and if you’re trying to do a self-loop, it’s gonna also block you, and if it’s trying… if you’re trying to do some wrong operation, it’s gonna be blocked as well.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and if I can add, this predecessor column already existed, but it was read-only, so you couldn’t make any change. So if you do know your company wants to use that, make sure that you right-click the column header, add the predecessor column to your preset, save it to your preset. Another thing as well, if you know people are going to use it a lot, you may want to move that column with the WBS column, so you have the numbers next to each other, it’s easier to handle. So just a few tips, but, yeah. If you know people are using it, that could be a valid way to, yeah, place it. And then, of course.

Yanick Abraham: When you have a big plan, this is the proper way to go, because you don’t want to be able to drag and drop, you just want to be open up a few of those, items, and if you need to look something on top, then it’s very easy just to do 1.1 FS, and then you’re gonna have all those linking, You have all those linked things being applied automatically. So, yeah, really cool functionality, small thing, but cool. The other one, it’s the, task indicator. Again, it’s for visibility purposes, and to be able to see more, at a glance, in this specific project.

Rosalie Chassat: one.

Yanick Abraham: I don’t have any Slack Chatter, nice. So, if I go here, and I go in Chatter, and I post, for example, let’s say I post to Jenny Red, or Jenny Red would be posting to me, I can, need help here. you’re gonna see that the, the chatter indicator, and if you saw as well, I’ve enabled it via the, the main menu here, by right-clicking task indicator, and that task and skater is, powerful. No.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, it’s there, it’s there, yeah.

Yanick Abraham: Then you see the icon showing up, usually it’s on the left side, and this way it’s also telling you if you have any checklist items, if you have any time logged, and then you know if there is any chatter communication as well here on your chatter feed. We are, looking as well at incorporating better Slack in the near future, and Team is something that we are on the lookout for as well. I know that a lot of you are waiting for Team interconnection, but Chatter is still a very reliable way to connect within the platform, and Chatter is also accessible via the, Community, so you can chat with your customer even with that, with that mechanism here.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and depending on how far back you are on your version, this task indicator column, you may still not have it saved on your preset, so make sure you do, because it helps you with checklists, chatter, files, a bunch of things, so…

Yanick Abraham: Oh yeah, and all my tasks are, except this one, you can see this one is overdue now, so you have that red indicator that’s really pointing out what’s happening. And you have the same with your milestone, so if one of the milestones would have been overdue, it would have become red, so this way you can really apply those logic.

Rosalie Chassat: Nope.

Yanick Abraham: Okay, let’s move on.

Rosalie Chassat: Launch… oh, we have the launch project import. Quick button.

Yanick Abraham: Oh, I didn’t know, I skipped… I skipped two, right? One.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, the only one.

Yanick Abraham: So, there’s two things. So, the, you know about the Project Import Wizard, so it’s when you’re creating a new, project. You can now launch it from here, from the, the global action, section, but you can also do it directly from the, this, the grid site, so if you right-click and, you select a specific task, it’s gonna insert that project template under it. So let’s say I want that specific add-on bundle. We’ll come back to that, those onboarding templates later on, but let me open up that specific add-on bundle here to the project, so now it’s doing its job of creating those tasks, task assignments, and everything related to your task. And it’s just gonna upload and update my grid with that specific project. So it’s a really easy way now for a project manager to really include some new requirements or some new functionality directly in the Gantt. So, yeah, it’s just… you could do it in the past with a button on the record, now you can do it directly from the resource panel.

Rosalie Chassat: The nice added things from this compared to the other way of doing it is it’s gonna add it right where your cursor is, so right after that, versus the other way, it just adds it at the end. Pretty sure the…

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, exactly. So you see, just before below my released onboarding template, I have my SAS widget onboarding with my proper project plan that’s been rescheduled, and then I can just move things around and decide if, If I want to realign it, or readjust it, or if I want to use my predecessor column, and now say 5.5.3. FS, I can do it now. Or… no. A typo again.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, that was an error, you weren’t supposed to loop it that way.

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it’s my, my keyboard.

Rosalie Chassat: Alright.

Yanick Abraham: We all have off day, this is my off day mode.

Rosalie Chassat: There’s a few things coming in the workspace as well in 51.14. We’re always adding workspace stuff.

Yanick Abraham: Okay, project and my deadlines. Yep. Go for it, Rosalie, we have,

Rosalie Chassat: First one we have, project closure. I think this is something we actually used to get, well, get a lot of questions from customers, like, what do I need to do when my project ends? So we kind of captured it in a nice feature, and we’ll walk you through how to set it up. I think it applies to, well. all customers, so I would be surprised if you don’t want to use this. You may have set up your own thing, but yeah, let’s have a look.

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, so every project you end, usually you should try to do lessons learned, you should try to improve your previous template. More than ever, this is what we tell to the team always, to update their template and update their skills with AI, but that’s the same thing here. You want to be able to close properly your project, and there’s a few things that need to happen to have a tidy environment. So when closing your project, you want to close your project assignments, you want to close your task assignments, you might want to remove some of those hours so you don’t see it. You want to make sure that there’s no timesheet left, there’s no invoice unpaid, so that’s a nice process to adapt. We don’t force it at this point, you still need to press that button. There’s a way to force it. This being said, this is what you should be looking So, first you can see here that it’s giving me some warnings. So there is still some invoices that are sent or in draft, not paid, so maybe I want to close this up before closing the official project. There is some unsubmitted timesheet. This is worse, so the invoice are incomplete. And then you have more information, so you can see, more detail about your task assignment or your project assignment, so where they stand, how many hours were logged. And then we have a close date that’s gonna drive those values as well. So, if I want to close my project for September 6th. You see that after September 6th, there’s still 154 hours that are scheduled. So maybe, maybe I want to do something about it, clearing them out, or, or just leaving there, if this is my process internally. So, the way it works, you just select what you want to do. So, I want to mark my project as complete, not canceled. You can change the role, the date, you pick the date, and depending on the date you pick… let me go back to today… The message is going to be a bit different, and what you can do is that you can close the assignment, so every project assignment will be set to close, and this you can put on and off. You can also do the alignment of schedule to log hours. If you recall, this is a functionality you can do as well to just realign your week from hour… To what’s got logged, so your schedule will be linked with what got logged. And when you select that, that range, you just need to specify which range, and it’s giving you, again, what kind of information you’re gonna take away. And if you just wanna delete everything, delete all the open assignments, so, and schedule, you can just go ahead and delete those. So… Those are the 3 main options that you can do for closing your project. And this way, it’s gonna… Make sure that your resource planner is clean, that you don’t have empty lines. We’ve introduced some of those toggles in the past to, like, remove empty line, remove zero line, and it’s all because some people don’t close properly projects, and now you have a UI to do it.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and what I would say, because I see a few questions, people are asking if you can customize that, and other ideas of… more things they would like to do. If you’re interested by this feature, like, try it out, and then I invite you to log under Ideas Exchange, like, improvements to the project closure feature of things you would also like it to do, and then our team can have a look, and if it makes sense for everybody, we’ll probably add it to the product.

Yanick Abraham: And the sooner you do it, the greater chance you have that it’s gonna be a pickup very rapidly, because it’s still warm, it’s still out of the press, sometimes we still need to do some small tweak or small improvement that didn’t make the first cut, so if your idea fits, we’re just gonna take it and do it. So please submit your idea rapidly if you want something on those topics.

Rosalie Chassat: Alright.

Yanick Abraham: This one I’m not showing. Rosalie, maybe you can just talk about it, or…

Rosalie Chassat: It’s just the fact that when you’re creating your new project, if you’re doing it manually, the way it’s presented is now much easier. Before, it was a drop-down, and now you can select different options, so it’s visually just much easier.

Yanick Abraham: Multiple select checkbox.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, exactly.

Yanick Abraham: And then the two other ones are the My Deadlines. So, one thing related to the project name, which is very simple, and the other one is just more visibility again. So, if I’m going to My Deadlines. and I switch to my calendar view, now you can see vacations, and you can see, PTOs and, holidays, company holidays, and different color, team as well. So, amber for the customer, the company holidays, and then blue for vacation. So they are now visible in the calendar, in the My Deadlines.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, if you’re still not using My Deadlines in your organization, and it’s the first time you see that, please have a look at our resources. We have an e-learning on it, like, you should really be using the My Deadlines. It’s a very easy, super customizable interface as well, so it’s the first time.

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, and maybe I can pick just a second. We’re aiming at more workflow management as well, and making sure that when a task is complete, that the other one can already start. So, with humans, it works, but with agent, it’s more important than ever. So, when you close a task, then we want to be able to show you which tasks are ready to work on, and it’s going to happen here in the My Deadline, so… My deadline is just bounded to be improved, so again, if you have problem… not problem, but if you have a recommendation, suggestion, don’t hesitate. There’s gonna be one place for… Really knowing what you should execute next, and giving you that, clue for what to, to prioritize.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and we’ll talk about it on the November webinar, that one, yeah.

Yanick Abraham: Perfect. And then the other thing is just that, you know, clicking it, I think we had a small.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, you can see. Now it opens it up, yeah.

Yanick Abraham: No problem.

Rosalie Chassat: Searching.

Yanick Abraham: I’m an expert.

Rosalie Chassat: My time sheets. We have just two small things, the group by billable, the first one, we added grouping options in the last few releases, grouping by role, grouping by project, I think it was, so now this is the third one we’re adding, because again, it’s one of those, we added the grouping, and then people asked for this option as well, and then we delivered it, so do you want to show it off, Yanick?

Yanick Abraham: Yes, and this one, it’s interesting, I have a backstory with it. So, my timesheet, you can see that we have, proper data filled in already. This is because I did that with our MCPs and our skills, and yesterday, maybe I should have spent more time doing my dry run demo, so it didn’t glitch like it glitched before. I must have messed up something, but I was working on our skills to, like, create videos for us and for you guys to, of what we’re demoing, and this is what you can do, like, creating project now, it’s really… I only use MCPs or one of our school P agents when I’m one of our interface, but… Absolutely, if you haven’t really played with what you can do, and adjust, and align and reporting, you can do with our MCP do it, because there was no timesheet before I started that routine, and now I have, like, I didn’t do anything, and this morning it was there for me to show you, that if I want to see some grouping, we had group by task and group by project, now we have grouped by billable. And it just, like it says, it just grouped them by billable. You have those summary lines, which is very interesting, so you can better see what you’ve been working on, and if you have some adjustment, and you have the right to do it, in my case, I do have the right to switch some stuff to non-billable. It’s just gonna flap, live on your non-billable section. So if there is some… it’s preferred to do the other way around, so make things billable, so let’s make more things billable. So that’s a grouping scenario, and it does work in conjunction with our other grouping as well.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and whatever you have there, when you go back, it’s the setting you have set, so if you have it grouped by, billable, it’s always going to show until you change it.

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, exactly. All right. And I think you wanted to mention the calendar again, did you?

Rosalie Chassat: And the other one is the mass timesheet Operations. I think someone in the chat was asking when the calendar events are going to be synced with Klient, which is not something in the product yet, but…

Yanick Abraham: It’s in the, it’s coming, right? It’s the, it’s on the roadmap, so I’m not sure what the date, but it’s, I think, the next release.

Rosalie Chassat: mass timesheet operations.

Yanick Abraham: Nice timesheet. Let me get… So that’s, one of the UI that got introduced to simplify your life. So in this, my timesheet that we just looked at, if I, try, let’s say I want to move things around, or there was some, some items that were not placed under the proper project, or my rate were bad, this is where I would go. Now you can, see better where your project and tasks are located and what they are, so you can easily sort, and you can see under, again, it’s a small change, but under, now you can see the parent task, so you can easily, if you have two tasks that are in the same, the same, name across two different projects, then you’re gonna be… or two different phases, you’re gonna be able to see it. So, again, small change, but it’s a layout change from that mass timesheet approval.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, so for the ones that have the same name, and then you have the order, option as well, the new toggle.

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, it’s the, the sorting, right?

Rosalie Chassat: order a task option.

Yanick Abraham: Yep.

Rosalie Chassat: By a project. Oh, maybe it’s not there. Oh well.

Yanick Abraham: So this is at the.

Rosalie Chassat: Okay, let’s move on to, once you’ve done all this in Klient, last bit is the billing. So, we have a few things, what do we have there? I think we’re just mentioning these ones, right?

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, those two, for now. There’s a lot of improvement with the expenses, the syncing with QuickBooks. That’s why, as well, if you want to enable those, there is some upgrade consideration, so we continuously improve our connectors. In this specific case, though, I want to just show you the generate invoice. There is now more filtering, so it’s about ease of use and filtering.

Rosalie Chassat: Organizations up there.

Yanick Abraham: You just select my proper date range. And then when I search, when searching, it’s gonna return all my different organizations, Northwind Trader and Klient PSA, and I would just have, again, a selection of features one for people that are doing a lot of invoicing across different companies, because Klient can be… can handle multiple entities. This way, it’s easy for you to generate those invoices based on that, that new picklist. And the other one was related to the expense PDF. So when you have some expense item, and those expense items have PDF or have images, because we’re supporting more from the previous release as well. Now you can properly embed them in your PDF, invoice PDF, and send them directly. So in this case, my, Skyward Demo Air ticket has been included directly on my invoice PDF, if you want to send those to your customer, so they can pay you back.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, so if your invoice had more than one page, essentially, that’s where you would use PDF, and then it would not show. Perfect! And yeah, as we mentioned, if you are using QuickBooks, any of the connector that we have, the easiest way to go about it and know what’s new is just to go in the release note, type QuickBooks, and then just look what’s new, and then you’ll have all the upgrade consideration. You can also turn on upgrade consideration, so that would be the fastest way, because you know which tool you’re using. So, yeah. Alright, reports and survey. Yeah, we’re talking Snap Workspace, survey, a quick one. Let’s get to it.

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, last demo slide, happy that this one is ending. So, for this one, we’re going to be looking at the snap, and there is a small tip from me here. We know that the snap was not the easiest thing to adapt. Because it’s a bit tricky of how you use it and how you consume it. This being said, if you just schedule it, so it creates a snap, and if you use our primary snap functionality, it’s just gonna do a delta, so it’s not gonna create a ton of records. So it’s a perfect way of just having a snap always live on your project record. So when you are enabling that scheduling, what’s happening here, you’re gonna have, for example, a primary snap that’s gonna be selected here on your project, and then this is the one that’s gonna be running on the Delta. And what we’ve added is that on the project object, you can now drop the Snap workspace, or a subset of the Snap workspace. So you can pick your snaps, and then you can have all that information directly on the project. So, this was available directly on the Snap workspace, but it’s better to have it directly from here. So if I want to see what’s happening with my project, I can see directly on my project record, including those KPI. And, yeah, so this is for dropping it in here. Anything else on that front, Rosalie? The other one is the preset. Presets, yeah. Yeah, so let me go to the Snap workspace.

Rosalie Chassat: Which you may want to use both in combination, so if you’re gonna drop it on your page layout, make sure you have presets so it’s a little bit easier for people as well, too.

Yanick Abraham: And, from, yeah, exactly from here, and you can see we have our small eye preset. I don’t have any, one set up, but maybe I want to do some, one that’s going to be maybe my ACME, weekly review or portfolio review, so I can select all my ACME projects, and maybe change my, my bird to a burndown instead, so now, and my Legend to all time. So by doing so, I can just then go And save my preset. And this is gonna be my Acme, review, preset, and, then, that’s it. So, I didn’t click that Save Remember Preset, so I can, just go, and, that checkbox here, we’re gonna remember the project. If you don’t click that, it’s just gonna remember the view. So, there you have the two, two functionality available to you, remember the project or not.

Rosalie Chassat: Someone was asking in the chat, Yanick, just how to get to the Snap workspace, if we can just show… yeah, it’s from the app launcher there. There you go.

Yanick Abraham: And if you don’t see it, it’s because you don’t have the permission set, so there is an admin permission set, because it’s allowing you to create data across different projects. So there is a permission set that needs to be assigned if you don’t see it. At the beginning, the list is going to be empty, so you need to create your first snap. Very simple, you just select which project you want to have data on, and then create, and then in a few seconds, the snap is going to show, and you’re gonna have that functionality available to you. And you can also, if you recall, in that snap, you can click and have the detail of it. So, it’s a very powerful tool. The adoption is a bit tricky, I think, because that automation has not been set up to create those snap records on a weekly, daily basis, so this way you can see the evolution. I recommend it.

Rosalie Chassat: We just dropped the e-learning for the Snap workspace as well in the chat. If you’re new to it, it’s probably your best bet for getting up to speed with what it can do and how it works. Nope.

Yanick Abraham: Last one, survey! So, if you click Configure Survey, it’s a small one, because it’s the next release, we have the biggest survey, dashboard that’s coming in. So, and, that specific… let me open up one… that one’s too small. So, if you have a survey and you want to reorder, we just added some drag-and-drop controls, so you can easily change your order of your surveys. In the past, you could do it, but you need to go in the… you need it to go in the, record page, a Salesforce record page, so now it’s just a small add-on, but I guess this is a prelude to, next week, or next webinar, where we’re gonna show you a lot of cool reporting, both on the survey, but across Klient, with our Klient insights.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and what I can say about survey, because we’re going to talk about it on the November webinar, if this is a tool you’re using right now, but thinking of doing more with it, or you’re not using the survey right now, but thinking of it, maybe have an internal chat so that when you come to the next webinar, you’re, like, well-placed and you know what kind of you want to do with that. But yeah, the survey is going to make it much easier for you to use. I just launched a poll because that kind of wraps up everything that’s new in 51.12, so we do want to know which feature or updates from today’s webinar you’re most excited about. You can select more than one, and we use this poll to share it with our product team that loves to hear, like, where we hit the mark or not, so it’s nice for us to know what people are most excited about, so take a few seconds to look through them. They’re in order of the presentation we did today. And we’re also curious to know, if you already upgraded to version 51.12 or 13, because they were released back-to-back, so if you’re on the latest version, essentially. So we’re curious to know that. I’ll leave it a few seconds, and then we can move on to the second portion of the webinar while people keep answering. All right, so, I’ll leave it on this side, yeah, that’s fine. There’s four things that… well, there’s many, many things that are new in the Feature Hub, but let’s talk about 4 of those today, just so, yeah, to keep you up to date. First thing, better and more documentation. So, since our last webinar a month ago, we added 98, almost 100, new articles. These could be FAQ e-learnings, new sections, etc. We also updated 166, documentation, so that’s a lot. And we’ve done that using, yeah, our AI, of course. It’s based on, like, the answers we are… KLARA gave our support team, and we have kind of continuous improvement working there. Secondly…

Yanick Abraham: Don’t be afraid by the sheer amount of numbers, because the idea is that AI is being fed that data, meaning that your point of entry can just be KLARA or your MCP, and that’s it. But it’s important that we create really good documentation, so you can find it, but even more so that your agents can find it. So, yep.

Rosalie Chassat: And the second question…

Yanick Abraham: Thank you, Brian, I’m happy to see that pop up.

Rosalie Chassat: The second point is KLARA. So, KLARA, we launched her last November, so it’s almost a year ago. Recently, we’ve also improved our capabilities so that she now creates support case of that. And then we launched, KLARA version 2. earlier this month, October 5th. So if you haven’t tried KLARA since October 5th, go try her. Success rate is much better. We have, like, a dedicated team member that’s working on making sure KLARA is getting better, and again, with our documentation, everything is and everything, is what Yanick likes to say, so…

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, and this one, it’s, because that’s what I’m saying at the beginning, we have really exciting stuff for the end of this year, but KLARA is part of our full autonomous project delivery, so KLARA is being checked by AI every day. new documentation created every day by us approving, we just press a button, and everything is being done automatically, so this is what we want to show you. But this means that documentation getting improved every day, and KLARA is getting improved every day, meaning it’s just servicing you better. So yes, please use it, and if you don’t have a good success, we will know, because we bring all conversation every day, and it’s even showing on my screen here in the background. So, it’s eye visibility, that support, agent.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and what I often tell, if you have a new person joining on your team, the best bet is, like, send them to the e-learning, learn about a few features, and then complete with KLARA. So whatever is not clear, or whatever you’re still wondering, then ask KLARA, and that should give you the big picture. Alright, the last two points are kind of related, so release notes, just so you know, we are continuously, trying to improve our release notes. We added, like, before and after for all the fixes, so you know what the difference is, and we’re also trying to be a bit tighter with our release notes, because they were getting longer and longer, so if you have any other feedback on, like, the format, or the view for the release note, or the content, please let us know. And then the last bit, AI cheat sheet. Some of you have asked, if it was possible for you to, like, feed our release note to your AI, because there’s a lot of them, because we developed so many new versions. It is possible, here’s how, you just essentially put the release note link, we’ll drop it in the chat, you just give that to your AI, and you can say things like, what changed, for people who log… what has changed since X version for people that log time? Or, like, summarize this version, put, like, whatever you want. It works very well, so try it after today if you’re curious. Just, grab the link and tell your AI to look at it and Extract whatever you want. Anything you want to add about that, Yanick? No?

Yanick Abraham: Well, this is the key, the name of the game, this is what… we have another way that we, it’s gonna be even easier, but, yes, please poke our documentation, make your AI agent work for you, but, have Klient as the core project and task management. It’s gonna change your life.

Rosalie Chassat: Yep. Next, we want to talk… this is part of the community as well, but we have a dedicated slide for it, Yanick.

Yanick Abraham: Sorry.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, there you go. We just wanted to highlight a little bit, all your ideas. We keep talking about it, but we really want to emphasize we’re developing the product for you, everybody on the webinar, there’s no bad ideas, so if you do have an idea for the product, I saw there’s already a few in the chat. Just go to the Ideas Exchange, submit them, you can see there’s already 36 that are live. from when we launched this, which was, like, not even a year ago, some of them are in development, some of them just since the last webinar, you can see. What I would say, if you submit or vote for any idea, we now have something running in the background as well, you would get an email notification when your idea has been moved to, from voting to development, so you know it’s in the works, or when it’s live as well, you’ll get an email notification. So, anything of interest, just make sure you vote Or you submit those ideas, and we have some examples of today, what we demoed that was part of that. All right, okay. All right, now we’re getting into a new section.

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, and we have 5 minutes left, so, this, please ping us if you are interested to know more about it. But we are now, we are OEM partner of Salesforce, so, and we just had a new SKU, a new product we can resell to you, and it’s one of the most useful SKUs. Actually, I say most useful. This is the SKU that let me sleep at night, even if I never used it yet, but the day I will need it, I’m happy that I’m paying for it. So, this is a backup solution that we can offer you. It used to be called Own Backup. It’s an acquisition Salesforce did, two years, something ago. Now it’s being included within Salesforce, and it’s now available to you. So, if somebody do a mass delete, or if agents, because that’s the only part, human, it’s fine, you can delete one too, and you realize it. AI, they go very fast. So, but with this, you can, with one click, recover your data, you can be notified, so, there’s a lot of things, that, is powerful through that tool. So, those alerts, you can compare to backup to see what changed, and just restore what changed. Like I said, it’s a… it’s a good, solution to sleep better at night, knowing that you’re getting backup, so if you are interested, let us know. We can supply it. The way it works, it works by… there’s two types of data in Salesforce. There’s the data, so the records, and then there’s more, but data, the records, and then there’s files, so you can just backup data if you want. If you want to add the files, it’s a second line. If you want to know about about how much it would cost you. Just write us, grant us login access, it’s the easiest way. This way, we won’t have to guide you, but you just need to tell us the number of gigs that you have for both data and file. It’s in your company information. Section. Otherwise, just grant us login access, and we’ll check for you.

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and I see from the poll, nobody is using this yet, so yeah, talk with your team and reach out after various support if you have any questions, we’re happy to tell you more about it. You can check this slide after.

Yanick Abraham: Did you, did we have the comparison? Oh, we removed it, between Salesforce,

Rosalie Chassat: Yeah, and the little lines, yeah, the little lines there.

Yanick Abraham: It’s a lot more, it’s everyday backup, it’s not a single one, and then the way that you get back that information, it’s a lot simpler with that solution.

Rosalie Chassat: Yep All right, okay, what’s coming up? We’re almost done, by the way. As an FYI, alright, so we have a lot of webinars coming up. Next webinar is actually in 2 weeks, so it’s the first look at Klient Insights. So, as you may have noticed, we’re currently on 51.13, We presented 51.12, but 51.13 is this Klient Insights. Yanick is really excited about it. We’re all very excited about it. I already spoke with customers that are excited about it, so if you want to know about Klient Insights, make sure to register to the November 5th webinar. In preparation of that, we also have a little poll. We’re just curious if you want to take.

Yanick Abraham: Yes.

Rosalie Chassat: to let us know what your dream dashboard looks like. It can be just words, whatever. We will use that to help us prep for the webinar as well, and Yanick can take that into consideration. But that’s kind of what we try to do with Klient Insight, is build your dream dashboards, so…

Yanick Abraham: Yeah, and we didn’t, if you noticed, we didn’t talk, we might have talked, but we didn’t show any agent. Hopefully, on November 5th, I’m gonna be able to show GUIDY1, because she’s the one that’s gonna deal with your description of dashboard. We’re gonna give it to her, and we’ll see what happens.

Rosalie Chassat: Perfect. And then next webinar after that is our regular monthly webinar, 51.14, on November 19, and then on November 26th, for anyone in Europe, we mentioned it before, but we have the Agentforce World Tour Amsterdam. We have a tour. Yanick, myself, Krystel, Raul will be there, so be sure to let us know if you are planning to join, and we haven’t talked yet. It’s a free event, by the way. And let me just end that poll, and we’ll finish with our last, webinar feedback. All right, okay. Then, what we have on this screen. While you fill in the webinar feedback, we just wanted to show you a couple of reviews we had lately. It’s quite nice to see what customers are saying, positive, negative, and often, I feel like 95% of the time. The dislike portion is always something that’s already in the product or, like, coming on the next version. So we just wanted to point it out here, these are, like, reviews.

Yanick Abraham: Yes, thank you for submitting review, we know it takes a We really appreciate it, and we are reading them, and we are acting on them, and we are improving every day.

Rosalie Chassat: Yep, yep. So again, we ask you if anyone here is happy to be a reference in the future, we have, some customers that really like to… some potential customers that like to talk with real customers, so just say yes in the chat or tell us after, tell people about us, and then if you want to leave a G2 review as well, we really appreciate it. I’ll leave the webinar poll open. I think that’s kind of it for today. Yanick, did you have anything else you wanted to add?

Yanick Abraham: We’re at the end of our time.

Rosalie Chassat: Alright, have a great.

Yanick Abraham: Another time, not the end of time.

Rosalie Chassat: Alright, bye-bye!

Yanick Abraham: Thank you, everyone.

Rosalie Chassat: time.

Yanick Abraham: Oh, I…
